You walk through a weird but at the same time familiar landscape, maybe you have been there in some dream or another life. Millions of miles always or at the garden of your house. That’s the way I think my paintings feel like.
Art for me was and still is a path. Don’t know how I start getting interested, it’s a mystery to me. Just know that I incorporate the outside world with my hands and I am happy working with them. I try to create a shape to the poetry, the constellations, the cycles of nature and fire.
My family is kind of gipsy, so I probably have lived in eight different neighborhoods, and went to 6 schools. As a teen I was always in the streets, listening to punk rock and exploring abandoned houses. I became involved in fanzines, politics and activism.
I studied Art direction, scenography and Visual Arts. I’m excited about a trip to Mexico coming soon, a new show with Brazilian artist Carla Barth, and a collective exhibit in Germany.
