One day, a friend brought me to a small old train models shop and I have to admit that I didn’t pay attention to the trains and stuff surrounding me. Just one thing got to my eyes: hundreds of tiny people in small boxes. They were like waiting for me to play with them and my camera.
I bought one little man and I thought I would always keep him with me, and would shoot him in many different situations. But after 2 or 3 different scenes, I wanted to go back to the shop and get another character! And then another one! And well… After a while, I had lots of tiny people and different pictures of them in strange situations. And this is how The Plastic Life series started.
I was born and grew up in Paris. I studied business and worked in advertising agencies. At the age of 27, I left France to travel to Asia for 14 months. I went back to the world of agencies and became addicted to photography. In 2010, I decided to live off my freelance art direction and photography. I have 2 young daughters and I am getting married next month.
I have to admit that I am addicted to work. But I love spending time with my fiancée Bénédicte and my 2 daughters, Lucie and Jeanne. We organize dinners with friends few times per week. I bike a lot to go to my meetings in Paris and I love travelling a lot.
